🧹 Giottos KIT-1001 Large Cleaning Kit with Small Rocket Blaster (Black): Ultimate Cleaning Solution for All Your Devices Review

A Giottos jet blower is included in every photo bag. I wanted a smaller travel device and was looking for one. The brush is also very good, but the cap fell off. A drop of super glue fixed everything. Other than that, it's great.

Used with my Canon 6D and 70D. I have cleaned my 70-200, 50 1.4, 16-35, 85mm, 50mm and 35mm with no problems. For the price it couldn't be better. Every photographer should have this set in their bag. I'm sure there's a reason the cleaning spray doesn't contain ammonia (it will likely damage the lens coating), but the only improvement would be that the spray evaporates faster.

Good features, but the cloth is not entirely lint-free. The liquid was probably also intended for cleaning CDs. The label on the bottle says so. So I'm wondering if this is safe for camera lens glass as well. The Rocket Blower is still fairly large and if you have a small camera bag you might have trouble carrying it around. I have a Canon 18-55mm and a 55-250mm lens. The fan, brush, spray and cloth all worked well for me. The fan fits easily in my Lowepro Slingshot camera bag and is definitely better than using cans of compressed air. I didn't notice the brush, which by the way is made of goat hair. by losing the bristles. Since it can stick to dirt, I blow it out with compressed air. The spray is very soft. So if you want something that will remove everything from your lens in one fell swoop, this isn't for you…

To be honest I've only ever used a rocket blaster and a lens brush. I keep my lenses pretty clean so I didn't have to use anything else. Regardless, the two items I've used work very well. What I do is: - Brush off as much as possible with a few powerful squeezes of the rocket blaster - Brush off anything that's stubborn with a lens brush - Brush any residue that's come loose with one brush with another Rocket blaster from cartridge. With all the lenses I've had this method has worked very well

This kit performs as expected. Rocket Air is the main reason I bought it. In the past I've tried blowing dust and particles off the front of the lens, which inevitably leads to saliva stains no matter how careful I'm. The only other option was a soft cloth, which is best not used with anything on the lens surface. Rocket air is good at removing large amounts of particles. I already have a Giottos AA1900 Rocket Air Blaster Large - Black and it's great but too big to carry in a small bag. I bought this set mainly for the little rocket blaster, but found a surprising number of uses for the cotton swabs. Also the extra microfiber cloth is a plus and the solution seems safe. Since I use a blower to shake off most of the dirt, I didn't find much use for the brush. The next best thing in this set besides the rocket blaster is the Q-Tips or Q-Tips. Wish there was more…

I bought this set to quickly slip into my camera bag while shooting. I have a large rocket blaster that I keep at home (due to its much larger size) for a more thorough cleaning. The little rocket blaster is great, but you have to squeeze it hard and fast to generate enough air to shake off the stubborn dust. The brush is fantastic and in my opinion the best part of the set. I bought my used DSLR for next to nothing and realized why the person had probably sold it when I went out to snap some photos of a beautiful sunset. There was small fluff on the sensor.
