Bought this because it was free! No smell, which may be a good thing for some. I had the worst entanglements using this combo! The conditioner didn't feel silky smooth after use. I won't be repurchasing it, but I'm grateful they don't test on animals.

This shampoo is not as harsh as regular clarifying shampoo so you can use it like regular shampoo. It's high in protein so if your hair doesn't like protein I wouldn't recommend it. The consistency is thicker than other shampoos, so a little goes a long way. I also recommend rubbing it in your hand with some water before applying it to your scalp. I can't take it - no matter how much shampoo I use and no matter how much I rub it into my hair, my hair still has product residue and feels dirty. The conditioner doesn't add any extra moisture - it just seems to sit on my hair and then rinse out. I'm used to sulfate-free shampoos, so I'm used to the idea that shampoo doesn't lather, but this shampoo and conditioner set simply can't handle either
