This helmet is amazing! What I like

This helmet is awesome! What I like: You don't look like a mushroom head wearing it. It has excellent ventilation. my head with this helmet compared to others. If you think these features can make your trip more enjoyable, order now! I trust the Giro for safety, another Giro I owned saved my life in a horrible accident. So I had to replace my helmet with this one.

Great looks and protection

I rode this helmet for just over a year before I had a bad accident and hit my head. It definitely worked and definitely saved me from a head injury. The restraint system is pretty good. I've tried many helmet brands over the years and this one ranks in the top third for comfort. This helmet seems to look good on men and women of all sizes and shapes. I would try to find this helmet on sale. I would definitely not spend more than 200€.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Very good helmet for helmets and accessories

Nice comfortable helmet. I have a hard time finding a helmet that fits, my head is elongated, not round. This Giro Synthe helmet fits my large head well without all the room on each side. As for the high speed claims. I dont know. I removed a pad panel from the front and used sports tape, works much better. I think this helmet is worth the price and would recommend it to a friend. The seller exceeded the promise pretty quickly day in and day out. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Old model but great price.

The helmet I received was an old version of the Giro Synthe. The main difference is in the straps, specifically the little key that connects the two straps under the ear. This original model has a plain buckle, while newer models have a preset buckle built into the plastic in a "Y" shape, which is a better design. Despite the reduced price, I am very happy with my purchase. Synthesis is a known commodity. It's light, aerodynamic and well ventilated, even in the 100+ degree humid heat that I…

Great Helmet: Adult Helmets

Great Helmet - I've been using the KASK Mojito for a while and really didn't plan on upgrading it, but after learning a bit about the new MIPS technology I knew that it was worth a try. What a good helmet; First, it looks sharp and has a nice low profile. Next it fits very well; The adjustment knob on the back makes putting on the helmet very easy. Finally he breathes well; I ride in South Florida where it's very hot and this helmet has great ventilation making it perfect to avoid overheating…

Pros
  • Easy Adjustment
Cons
  • Almost OK

MIPS is long overdue!

I've worn it twice and I love it! I had a sizing issue following the Giro chart. I measured Wednesday against their schedule. On arrival the middle one was too small. It felt like half a peanut shell was sitting on my head! All I needed was a propeller on top! They kindly exchanged it and the plus size fits very well! Customization "set" - "set" makes it easy to customize over a hood or skull cap! The ventilation is top notch! The only thing he needs is a sun visor. The idea of MIPS has been…

Not bad but sacrificing fit and quality for aerodynamics and weight

Part of the reason this helmet is more aerodynamic is because of the helmet's reduced profile. In other words, it has an awkward oval shape and is slightly narrower than other Giro helmets. If you want to wear a hat or balaclava underneath and are unsure if it will fit, you might want to look elsewhere. The build quality is okay, there is more foam beating around the edges than I would have expected from helmets like Giro Air Attack or Kask Line, for example. If you have this helmet on sale it…

  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

Helmets save lives!

I am only writing this review because I was lucky enough to write it. This helmet most likely saved my life. In the short time I've had the Synthe it fit well, stuck to my head even without a buckled chin strap thanks to the Roc-Loc system and was very well ventilated compared to my old Giro Rift. The straps took a while to adjust to my head, but once in place I never really noticed them. crack my helmet. To make matters worse, another driver drove by on the other side of my head. I passed out…

Nice helmet suitable for cycling

Very light, fits perfectly so if you want some space to put on and breathe very well. One star off for the padding or, more importantly, the minimalist approach to this helmet. I know the weight, weight, weight. I don't race, so I'm not crazy about weight. It really helps, although a little comfort is still good. Added padding on the inside of the crown, added padding on the strap, and replaced the padding on the front headband with a thicker one. To do this, they dismantled the old bat helmet.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
