Back in seconds

I've had a Giro Revel before and they're almost identical in shape, weight, padding, price and brand (Revel has a visor, Trinity doesn't). . Trinity has the best fit. I wear a liner because I shave my head, but ventilation isn't an issue. I was expecting an almost all black color but there are thin stripes on the front and back. Giro makes up the majority of my gear: helmet, gloves and boots. They are not expensive, but all are durable and comfortable.

I feel the wind in my hair! πŸ‘πŸ»

This helmet is really great! I wanted to upgrade my old helmet to something with more ventilation. This helmet hit the mark. I am new to road cycling (only been cycling for a year) but my cycling friends have told me that Giro is a trusted brand. This helmet is light, comfortable, has great airflow (seriously, everything could be better than my old helmet, it was SO bad) and it was great value for money. I can't speak about its longevity, and honestly I hope I never have to.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Replaces a real old helmet

I bought this helmet to replace an old school helmet that I have had for too many years. This one is so much more comfortable that once I adjusted it properly, I barely noticed I was wearing it. It was easy for me to adjust both the straps and headband and I still wear cycling goggles with no problem. My cap size is 7-1/2 to 7-3/4 and there is plenty of room to adjust the headband both up and down. The straps are easily adjustable. Beautiful appearance and good finishes. I recommend.

Very comfortable and good looking helmet

I wanted a decent helmet that didn't feel bulky and clunky to wear. After looking at many different brands, colors, shapes, etc. I settled on this one. I already have a helmet (Schwinn brand) but I've never felt comfortable in it and I don't like the way it looks on me either. So I really like this Giro helmet! It fits my head perfectly, feels light, easier to wear because of the 22 holes and the shape is more rounded (no visor like the front or tail like the end) but no extra volume.

  • Amazing

Lightweight and I can wear a ponytail

This is my very first bike helmet at the moment. My husband said "this is a good brand" and I liked the color and didn't look like I had a shark fin on my head. And I didn't think it would make me look like someone from Alien. However, it's a great lightweight option for protecting eggs from broken eggs. aviator helmet. I've always hated the look of bike helmets, but this is an acceptable alternative that I like to wear to keep the noodles in my head. Two thumbs up!

I will test it on my first ride

I only received this helmet last Wednesday but during my usual Saturday morning ride. I had a small slip bill and an unfortunate fall. I was going too fast when I tripped, rolled to the ground and felt a slight tug on the back of my head as I hit the ground. My head is fine, it doesn't hurt at all. The only thing that hurt my ego was when I fell at the intersection where cars stop at a red light. Everyone looked at me, but everything was fine. I was glad I had a helmet on my first accident. Straps are too short!

I have some concerns about the exercise band and cleaning as I just opened the box as I don't see much absorbent material. but I'll save that for later. I've been playing with straps for the last 30 minutes because, frankly, they're TOO SHORT. It's uncomfortable and I'm discussing returning it and replacing it with the same helmet I had before but in a different color. I just noticed that others are saying the same thing about belts. The ones that fit the front are damn short and I can barely…

  • Great for me
