After 6 hours I made it! Good plate, durable, quick release. Works great with my 56 liter Givi Trekker top case. I was only able to use the screws (too short!) from the kit. Save hundreds of dollars with this universal mount versus the specific BMW R1200RT mount. It only took me 15 minutes to figure it out (the best place to take a flat butt, not a round butt) and install it.
