Lever nuts are well made and strong

The only problem I have is the plastic case, it's very thin plastic, it's broken on both hinges and elsewhere, I don't have it sent back, i will get it working with the help of good electrical tape, as said, the lever nuts are very well made and that is the most important thing for me.

do yourself a favor

Take the Wago brand. They're better than wire nuts, but incredibly difficult to open compared to Wago. The levers are tiny and very difficult to pull, also the wire holes are very tiny. I use Wago at work and figured I could save a few cents at home. The rest I use, don't throw away, but won't buy again.

Very solid for electrics

So far so good. Vago is probably better, but this one is cheaper. With the outgoing cables I had no problems. If the wire is straight and you insert it all the way, it won't come out. One thing that would have to make it perfect is a connector with more than 5 wires. Some switches I installed had up to 9 wires for ground and neutral, so I had to daisy chain 2 terminals.

Convenient but not UL listed.

They are pretty neat and easy to use. However, I'm not sure if they offer the same good and secure connection as a wire nut. Also, they are not UL listed. I have used them on several RV DC links. The factory setup was so pathetic that it allowed me to connect multiple wires easily and seamlessly. While practical, I would choose carefully where to use them and what amps to carry them.

Wire nut replacement: cool, useful, reusable but needs an overhaul

This is a wire nut replacement. They are reusable - I like it. They do the job more accurately. It's a great concept, but needs a little tweaking. The hole for the chain connection confirmation probe is too small. I've tried 3 or 4 different feeler gauges and they all had to be inserted into the hole - the hole is 1/32-1/64 larger and that would probably be fine. Often the wires didn't make contact and had to be reinserted - the lever had to be lowered all the way down - sometimes it could get…
