Waste of Money and Time!

This automotive product was a total disappointment. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I found it hard to adjust and I ended up wasting my time with it. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it's made of rubber. However, that's hardly enough to justify the frustration it caused me. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting product
Cons
  • Difficult to adjust and may require some practice to get the hang of it

Spray silicone!

Very good product. If you don't spray them with silicone you won't wear them and the product may break. Keep them in a plastic bag.

Pros
  • Ideal for 15-18" discs.
Cons
  • Only available in white.

High quality tensioners: Auto

I bought these to use with light truck wedge link snow chains. I struggled to attach them until I realized I wanted the rubber to slide over the hooks a little more easily. A quick spritz of silicone lube on the rubber and they started working like magic. If your snow chains are equipped with cam locks, you should leave them unlocked before installing them and lock them after installing the tensioners. You will find it very difficult if you do not lubricate the rubbers (with silicone spray)…

Pros
  • No assembly required
Cons
  • Very expensive
