I used paper towels or regular towels under my cat's small box to soak up urine when she missed the box. I put them under the box and there is no smell anymore, and when I change the filling, I also change the pillow. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner.

One of the smallest mats I've seen. They claim to gel their urine but get drenched every day. They leak at the edges and urine is everywhere. ONLY FOR HOURS. My dog doesn't even want to climb on them and will shit on the ground away from them. Seriously broken. I will never buy those cheap little non-absorbent pads again. and I suggest you look around for another one. It's terrible. i give them back

This is a wonderful item. No yellow urine stains on the white pads. They are all black. They look a little better than regular ones, if you have a small dog or an old dog that needs this product my little pups turned to it immediately and if anyone chooses "Charlie, two steps" or on a pillow scratches , they don't slip and don't make a gel mess, thanks, I'm very thankful they made a black pad, much better looking and more durable, very durable.
