A very nice way to hang bikes, but it has it.

A very good method of hanging bikes, but with limitations. My 29er with 2.25 tire will not fit in the clip so bikes with larger wheels/tires will not fit on this hanger. With this system I was able to fit 7 bikes in a 4x4 space with lots of floor space or even add 1-2 more. It's definitely a great storage system!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No performance

great idea though. - Hooks

I think this is a great idea, it will take a few more rounds of industrial design testing before this product is released. I have a mountain bike so the tires and rim are wider, they don't wrap completely around the rim and stay hooked. this is the essence of the design. So it still works, but it doesn't quite do what it's supposed to do. it is between 2`3 stars. Again, if they do this for a standalone, rackless setup, that would be another star.

Pros
  • are easy to understand even for old picks
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Cool no questions asked warranty

The bike mounts easily by just popping a wheel into the orange bumper but mine broke clean on a mounting plate called the Whirlpool and they told me to throw it out , and they told me to throw it away and send a new one because it has a 10 year guarantee, no questions asked so that's a big plus in my book, I don't know what broke it, maybe that did cold weather caused the plastic to become brittle but before that it worked about a year clicked and held up a fairly large frame bike

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Plan your mounting location carefully

Clamp itself works great. Easy to hang up and take down the bike. The bike appears to be very securely attached to the mount. One problem I've encountered, unrelated to how the clamp works, is that the bike lifts off the wall a bit when hanging, especially when both tires are stationary. appropriate. I parked my bikes in front of the garage and they stick out more than I would like. I removed the front wheels which allows them to sit closer to the wall. So make sure the place you want to hang…

Good idea, bad execution

So I use three of these to hang a pair of MTBs and an 18 pound road bike. Claws don't work! You pick up the bike, touch the shock pad and the jaws open normally. When you come back from a ride and hang the bike on the hook and hit the shock pad again, the jaws aren't spring loaded so they kind of dangle. I've had recurring issues with jaws not closing tightly, moving apart, or just not closing. For this price I expected a higher quality. My solution is to use a hook instead of messing around…

  • Lots of positive vibes

  • Vulgarity

Great bike storage solution

First I decided to buy one to try and after hanging my mountain bike so quickly and neatly I bought two more to hang my other two bikes. Despite being plastic, they are definitely heavy. For those skeptical of a 50-pound plastic bike suspension, trust me, they're up to the task. They look good, save space in your garage and make it easy to hang up and take down your bikes. While you could probably find a cheaper solution with some basic bike hooks, for the price I don't think you'll find a…

Great hook, don't throw it away when it gets weak

I have bought several of these hooks and have used them for years. They are great for storing baked goods against the wall. This snaps into the Gladiator rail system. Be sure to secure it with the yellow tab so it doesn't pop out. They make a different model that screws into a spike so make sure you buy the right one. One day one started to stick and no longer closed automatically around the tire. I fiddled with it, assumed it was just worn out, and threw it away. A few weeks later the second…

Definitely better than the regular bike hook

I bought both this upgraded bike hook and the regular bike hook (which has no button) to compare before deciding which one to use on all my bikes . . I've come to the conclusion that an advanced hook is DEFINITELY worth the extra cost. Putting the bike on and off is much easier compared to a traditional bike hook, which is inconvenient. It is also suitable for much larger tires than a conventional hook. I noticed that some reviews mention that with this arrangement the bike sticks out a lot…
