I have bought several of these hooks and have used them for years. They are great for storing baked goods against the wall. This snaps into the Gladiator rail system. Be sure to secure it with the yellow tab so it doesn't pop out. They make a different model that screws into a spike so make sure you buy the right one. One day one started to stick and no longer closed automatically around the tire. I fiddled with it, assumed it was just worn out, and threw it away. A few weeks later the second hook started to stick out. I looked at the internal mechanism and on a whim squirted silicone grease through the hole where the levers come out. It brought him back to life! I frantically searched for the first hook, but actually threw it away. So I ordered a new one. For some reason (probably Covid) there was a shortage of gladiator bike hooks in the country! The order was delayed for more than 6 months. So I paid the price in time and money for abandoning the hook, which simply had to be lubricated. (sigh)
