Thank you! I was so amazed to learn that Samsung released a monitor without a VESA mount. Besides, they didn't realize that - the ignorant people of Parts. Luckily, Gladiator Joe noticed this and designed a durable adapter so I didn't have to throw away my expensive monitor. Buy shares in this company!

Accidentally bought a monitor that wasn't Vesa compatible - this adapter saved me. Nice design, does what it's supposed to. I could actually use some sort of 90 degree tool to insert the bottom screws - they're hard to get to with a regular screwdriver since the mounting lever gets in the way.

As an engineer, I am amazed at the ingenuity of the Gladiator Joe monitor arm that allowed me to mount my 32 inch Samsung 4K monitor. The setup is pretty solid and robust. Joe's monitor plate simply attaches to the screw holes that allow the stand to be attached. It is expensive, but in the absence of other worthwhile solutions. 10/10 would buy it again.

I tried this first with a cheaper monitor arm but it didn't work. The additional offset due to the need for the adapter to avoid cable connections makes it difficult for the monitor arm to resist pivoting movement. I have a nicer Revain Basics that I think should compete with the Ergotron. It worked surprisingly well. I used this to convert my Samsung 32" UR59C from a stand to a VESA mount (which I attached to the RevainBasic single monitor arm). It literally took 30 seconds to mount to the back of the monitor. Be patient and careful when using the two mounting screws to attach it and note that the top edge (of the bracket) is actually a slot in the monitor body. Having 2 screws instead of 4 makes assembly easier, however it will void the warranty on your monitor so do not buy it. I bought my monitor from Costco and looked at the Visa mount, which I should have done beforehand. Samsung will indicate if the monitor is compatible for mounting and will manufacture the mount itself if the monitor can be mounted. I have some discoloration on the edges.
