32oz Vintage Glass Milk Bottles (Set of 2) - Leak-Free Lids, Measuring Marks, Made in USA Review

I use the pitcher method and keep my expressed milk in one of these containers throughout the day. Then I make bottles out of it the next day. Glass is very easy to clean! And I like that the ounce measurements are on the side. I'm afraid it will slip out of my hands. I wish there was some kind of grip. EDIT: After a month of use, the metal cap is rusting :-( This cap is a unique size, so I had trouble finding a plastic replacement cap.

Bought these glass milk containers hoping to hold half a gallon of whole milk (white lid) and half a gallon of chocolate milk (black lid). They are very cute and beautifully made. A little disappointed with the size as it doesn't hold a half gallon (now I realize I should have checked the dimensions better before ordering). These things are dangerous. There were two EXPLOSIONS in my fridge. When I wasn't there the first time, I thought it was an accident. I thought it might have fallen into the fridge and cracked. The second time I got home, it sounded like there was a loud bang in the kitchen. Broken glass and juice cover everything in my fridge. I just spent an hour scrubbing the glass out of the fridge and clearing out everything in the fridge. I recycle other bottles I've bought. Nothing is worth the hassle.

I was looking for something to fill the water dispenser on the fridge door but nothing worked. Anything short enough would not hold enough ounces, and most often the neck of the bottle would be so small that water could spill out when filling. Finally found this one. They are the perfect height, hold plenty of water and have a wide opening so I don't have to worry about spilling. I love these bottles! I try to store all my groceries in glass jars and they're perfect for lots of things from juices, dressings and on-the-go drinks (love the measurement markings).
