I had to think about the physics of these things because I would understand that there are inherent flaws in the design. It was easy to twist a bit, but once the "tongue" creeps through when tightening, the handle won't turn. And it doesn't even come with a round tube or hose. How you can use these things is beyond me. Don't waste your time and money, just have a wrench handy and get some regular clamps.

I bought these clamps to make my life easier and they did exactly the opposite. I wish I only had the old screwdriver clamps. The giant green wings will grab the excess loop as it passes, so you'll have to force it through the end of the loop every half turn, ruining the wings and accidentally hitting your knuckles in the process. I ended up cutting off the protrusions so they freed the tails. Stupid design. After development and production, has anyone even TRIED them?

Do not attempt to use them before presenting them to the public. The first few turns of the thumbscrew are fine, but soon the extra clip being pulled through the mechanism will reach the point where the edges of the thumbscrew will collide with it. This means you have to pry the thumbscrew away from the clamp with each turn until it slips off the excess material. I thought they would be easier to use than the regular kind that requires a screwdriver to turn, but it was quite the opposite.
