Doesn't look like regular tape

The tape is really shiny and the gold is very shiny but the tape adhesion is sluggish. I ended up having the gorilla glue it to my project. It doesn't stretch like regular tape and doesn't have a woven layer like regular tape. Very pretty but definitely not what I would expect from duct tape maybe because you would do it with glitter tape?

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Crumpled

It looks just like the glitter band but without the glitter!

I wanted to decorate gift boxes with edible items and I always hate that the shiniest items scatter lots of glitter everywhere! I didn't want the products to be shiny and if you know glitter that's almost impossible. So this tape is perfect! The glitter is sealed over it (transparent) but still looks shiny and realistic.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Sad Packaging

Not sticky and thin.

I used this for my class bulletin board. I bought three rolls. The tape didn't even stick to non-glossy cardboard folders and banner paper. I had to attach the tape to the board and folders when assembling it because it came off immediately. This was very frustrating and quite expensive for a product that didn't work. You can see in the picture how many staples I had to use, but I had to complete this project in one day.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Secret

Not Your Dad Duck Tape. Very disappointing.

I used it with my 6 year old for crafts. We wrapped it with PVC. This is not the same as your regular duck strap. It's much more rigid, translucent, and doesn't adhere well to PVC, even with thorough cleaning. Also, the reel is very small for the money. Too expensive for how bad it works. I would have sent it back but we were pressed for time and couldn't wait to find other things. Keep looking if you can. It's just not that great.

Pros
  • Self-adhesive, no paper backing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Disappointed, it doesn't work like duck tape

It lacks the qualities that make traditional duck tape so useful: it won't stick to a wide variety of surfaces, it doesn't stick to itself very well, and it absolutely has to "give" no stretching. It looks more like old-fashioned transparent tape. This works well if you're making a sign on card stock and just need something bright and shiny. But if you're looking for something versatile, like a traditional duck strap, you'll be disappointed. It's a completely different kind of band.

Pros
  • Glitter won't peel off
Cons
  • Very expensive

disappointed

about the 5 star glitter that doesn't fall everywhere. As for gluing, I tried transparent tape, not very good. Regular tape still doesn't work. I had to put some clear tape on it to keep it in place. I bought some hockey tape to use in some of my projects and quite accidentally taped this tape to it. Adhered remarkably well. Doesn't stick to itself. So using hockey cloth tape underneath as a base to glue works well. Will only add value if you're trying to sell tape creations, but the savings…

Pros
  • Add a cool glitter effect to projects, packaging, borders and more!
Cons
  • A bit of trivia
