I don't see how this can be real leather. The chemical smell is obtrusive and very unpleasant. I knew this product was made in China but decided to give it a try. The only good thing I can say is that it's a beautiful color. It feels like it's covered in some kind of rubber, but if you try to use it or bend it, it breaks. It can be easily torn in two when you try to use it. Not durable at all and unsuitable for use as leather laces.

I have photos that I can't upload for some weird reason (if I were a conspiracy theorist I would find that very suspicious). 15 feet are sometimes cut off, pieces are shorter than 6 inches, while others are longer and shorter. Obviously they are glued together to make one continuous piece and then they dye the leather after gluing it together to make it look like it's one piece but if you get it wet or pull on it it will break into pieces. I only give this product one star because of the nice color. I received this in a clear ziplock packaging and the color was amazing. This is where all the fun ended. Upon opening the package, the room was filled with a burning musty smell. I use this type of leather for bracelets. I can't sell bracelets that smell like this. I tried everything to get rid of the smell but nothing worked. For my last attempt, I soaked it briefly in alcohol because alcohol kills mold. It also killed that beautiful
