The shell and stick will peel off but not stick.

This is the first time I've tried to cut and glue letters out of vinyl and it was a failure. I figured I'd buy white vinyl and cut out the letters instead of drawing them on the window pane. However, after we placed the cut out letters on the window, they started peeling off and we had to go back and paint over the letters. I also tried to paint the white vinyl with acrylic paints so I didn't have to have different colored vinyl sheets on hand. It didn't help, the paint was peeling off. True…

  • Certified

  • Cord is shorter than other picks

I'm not sure about this Oracal vinyl.

I'll start by saying I'm not very experienced with Oracal, I just bought a few different reels. This one feels different though, it took me longer to transfer - it seemed like it was trying to get the most out of its foundation. But maybe I got an old roll or was it stored too hot/cold? I know vinyl can 'expire', most of them have a working expiration date - and we won't know or be able to find that out as there is almost no production date on the brand list. with other Oracal vinyls I've used,

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No productivity

Versatile and perfect for a silhouette cameo!

This is my FAVORITE permanent vinyl; I no longer use any other brand. I've used it on mugs, wooden signs, mirrors, wine glasses and canvas and it's always been a hit. I've never had any trouble cutting or pasting (unless I accidentally use the wrong settings). It's very easy to remove excess vinyl, even on detailed designs. I did not put the cups in the dishwasher or let them soak. Water. I've hand washed them and microwaved them many times to heat the cider and didn't notice anything falling…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
