glowshift sensors are amazing. I had an issue that needed solving and it was done very quickly and painlessly. Probably the best customer service I've seen in a long time. Really impressed with how they handled it.

Stepper motor noise can be heard when power is turned on. The backlight is blinding at night (the dimmer isn't connected, take it with a grain of salt) and for some reason doesn't remember the color setting. Slightly inaccurate by 3-7 degrees depending on my control box, but that could be a result of where I placed mine. Will be replaced in the future but works great as a rough benchmark

Excellent calibre. I have used this sensor in combination with the glowshifts boost sensor and the sensor in my New Beetle (they don't have a coolant temp sensor from the factory, just an idiot light). Works great and looks great. I like the ability to change colors. Installed for almost a year and a half and there were no problems. I just used the built in 1/8 NPT radiator hose adapter in the upper radiator hose. Works flawlessly.

I really like this sensor, I just installed it on my Toyota 22re pickup because my factory sensor has stopped working. That's very pleasant. I didn't know there was a smoked and unsmoked version, I would prefer the unsmoked one. And the dimming function should either be adjustable or more like 50% (not 30%). I have just completed the installation and initial testing of this sensor. The fit and finish is top-notch, and installation was easy (aside from the obligatory gymnastics required to work under a car's dash). Gauge face shields are very clear and the choice of colors combined with the standard brightness levels ensure an easy to read image.
