This part is a new (2021) redesign of the original (2015) that was in my 2016 Chevrolet Volt. The old part was 23496501 and it was a replacement. Great work! Pulled out the old one, plugged in the new one and the weak USB connection was done. USB A didn't fit properly or didn't offer a good connection, when the car went over a moderate bump or pothole we lost Android Auto. Then if you accidentally touch the cable we lose connection, now with the new cable, a strong connection and no more connection losses!
