Great Slow-Blow Fuse for Automotive Use

This fuse works great for automotive applications! It has a slow-blow feature that protects the system from surges, while still allowing for normal operations. The quality of the fuse is evident in its sturdy construction and reliable performance. However, it is on the pricier side compared to other fuses in the market.

Pros
  • Efficiently charges batteries without overheating or damaging them.
Cons
  • Not suitable for larger battery banks or higher power needs.

Big and heavy for big performance.

Remember that fuses are there to protect wiring from overheating and fire. This is not to protect your equipment. The size of fuse you need depends on the size of the cable and the amount of current flowing through your wiring. You can google to find charts of wire sizes and the amount of current they can handle. Of course, choose a fuse size smaller than the maximum current your wires can handle.

Pros
  • Positive Only
Cons
  • Upgradeable

I received a box that said '200A fuse' but it actually contained a 110A fuse. Ironically (suspiciously?) someone put a new label on the original label making it look like a 200 amp box! Out of stock and trying to meet a deadline or something? Had to use a 110 fuse because we didn't have power without it so I can't even send it back for replacement. :(

Pros
  • Good thing
