No fan! Bright color! High quality power cord! Don't do him wrong!

I love these. They do NOT have a fan! (quietly) AMAZING! STRONG YELLOW! It delivers rated power! ("Quality" connector/cable) But be aware that there is a tricky side to it. Just don't cross and everything will be fine. For example, don't "test" by plugging in a 14W hair clipper (brushless motor) and turning the machine on and off 3 times within 1 second. Because then you make it inoperable. I don't know if it was an internal fuse, I didn't risk opening it because I was still inside the rear…

Delivery a month late. Wrong item sent

This was supposed to be my third purchase of this item but everything went wrong. Two of my previous purchases died after a while. The first had a blown capacitor and the second was stuck in fully open mode (it draws maximum power even when nothing is connected). I ordered this current item with "Prime" but received delivery today instead of two days delivery. Arrival took a month. The final blow is that they sent the wrong block. I bought the 175 model specifically because of the "No Fan"…

This thing worked great and powered so many things, and not even really.

We use this in our motorhome. This is a caravan with a cigarette lighter socket. This thing has worked great for powering so many things and doesn't even seem to get hot. hot. No noise and works great! Here's what we did to him. Mainly from our campervan battery: iPhone 6 charger, iPad charger, Nikon camera charger, MacBook charger (85W MB Pro), Insignia 24 inch LCD TV with DVD player. but it's a good starting point. As you can see, it charges almost everything. It also ran our 24 inch TV/DVD…

Great little inverter

This little inverter is compact, QUIET and powerful. With no fans and no noticeable noise, this little guy is virtually silent. Of course, you need to know the power and especially the amplifiers that your devices require. Ignore the reviewers who dismissed this advice and blew fuses or complained that this inverter couldn't power their load - know your needs and always buy "more" inverters than you need. Also, don't be put off by reviewers pointing out that this "modified sine wave" inverter…

The inverter is very quiet!

This inverter is very quiet. We used it in our RV's bedroom for items that require 110 volts from the battery system. We accidentally left it on when we went to bed and we couldn't hear it at all. This would be a good choice for those who want a really quiet inverter. It's not a true sine wave inverter, but everything we've used with it worked, including the air pump, diffuser, computer, fan, etc. Most of our inverters have fans, which are very noisy if the noise level is high at night sinks…

Power supply for those who want quiet operation!

Really great power supply! I had previously purchased two other 12v to 110v power supplies and while both provided the power I needed, I was very annoyed with the noise their fans made. This device is COMPLETELY silent. I use it when I'm on board a chartered sailboat to power my laptop, charge my iPhone, etc. I've found that they all make whining fan noise with other power supplies, including one that promised that the fan would only so would work required. The fan went on and off as it did…

Good efficient inverter, short lifespan

Update: After about a year of running 24/7 with an average load of about 30%, two I bought failed miserably. One of the large capacitors inside exploded. I guess they weren't designed for long term use but took a star off anyway as I thought they should have at least lasted longer. First Review: I bought this inverter for my off-grid solar power project. I was looking for an inverter that could control the lights and didn't have a fan so it could stay on all the time without draining the…

Reliable, small, handy, low idle power consumption, NO fan!

Came in retail packaging. This is a one-piece device, with no accessories and a 12-page half-page instruction manual. Don't worry about loose parts, the plug is firmly attached and plugs directly into the cigarette adapter. I like the compact size and feel of this device. The cord is about the right length for me, between the connector and the block of 27 inch wire. It reaches the passenger seat perfectly from the console (although I mostly leave it behind). Mine works and produces modified AC…
