only 24 volts! at Tools and Equipment

The device is only suitable for 24V applications. With 24 volts you can use smaller power cords. ordered this by mistake and had to go back and get the 12v model. Very well made and would be ideal for a stand alone solar system.

Pros
  • Overvoltage, undervoltage and overload protection
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Has been working almost continuously for 4 years

Has been working reliably for 4 years, I like the remote switch. I use it to turn it off when the batteries are low. I also have a 12 volt 150 watt model and it has proven reliable as well. I will soon buy another model for 24 volts.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

good, but noisy at low temperatures.

It gets noisy when the fan kicks in and seems to kick on at around 90°F with good ventilation. Top performance and YET no problems. all electronics have no problems, macbook, router, hard drives. at full rated load of 300 watts, the voltage seems to drop a bit, but since most devices convert back to dc, it doesn't bother me too much.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Updates

I have had my first unit for over four years and it has proven to be very reliable. His current job is to keep my 55" TV running during a power outage with a 1700Wh battery charged by a single solar panel on the roof. The fan runs only when needed, preventing dust from clogging it. I had no problems with the second one I bought in January. But be prepared, they are a kind of boat anchor. The ground fault switch was a good idea.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • State of the art
