. I decided to buy these as they are easier to work with than the bare, twisted ends of the copper wires on amps and speakers. Cleaner installation, better signal integrity, and easier operation. I used 12 gauge wire (which is overkill) and they came out great. Highly recommended.

Yes Yes and Yes. It was difficult to find a banana plug for 10AWG wire as most banana plugs are designed for 4mm wire. I got them to compromise the design and use 12AWG wire. And it worked great. Very easy to install. I only used one of the two set screws to tighten the conductor. We also recommend dripping glue on the threads to seal the cover. The lid can be removed very easily.

I was very happy with them until I had to reconnect them after changing receivers. When I first unplugged them, 6 out of 18 broke and it took pliers to unplug them. Cheaper Chinese junk again, someday I'll learn. Don't believe the reviews about bot farms, it's absolute rubbish. Learn from my mistake and spend a few bucks more. It's garbage.

These are regular banana plugs. Unlike the first set I used where the wire is folded over the edge and then screwed onto the wires, this one uses small screws to secure the wire. You have to do the screwing, but you don't have to bend the wire over the edge. The only problem, and it's minor, is that a couple of pros got the screw too far in and got stuck inside out of the threads - it took some fumbling with a small screwdriver to get it out.

I've used various types of plugs in the past, these are some of the best. They are good value for money and are solidly built. You will spend a little more time installing the speaker cable with these types of connectors, but it's worth it. There are 2 small screws that clamp the speaker wire making for a very secure connection. After securing the cable, screw the cap back on and you're good to go. I use them with 12ga speaker wire and have no complaints. I highly recommend these plugs.

This has to be one of the best solutions for receivers/amplifiers that can use banana plugs. I received a set of 6 pairs / 12 connectors. I took each pair and connected my speakers to my receiver/amplifier one at a time. Very easy! Now I can take my receiver out so it can be cleaned! These banana plugs are amazing! Easily fits 12 AWG wire. Like the double set screws. The wire looks incredibly comfortable. Tighten the set screws securely. If you don't strip the sheath too far it will just fit inside the sleeve leaving no exposed wire. It just looks better and cleaner that way. The collar can be rolled up nicely and completes the look.
