Bottom View measurement is wrong

The board feels like good quality, has a bit of a smell out of box though. I bought it because the bottom measurement says 18.1in and it would perfectly hug my gas stove burners (I measured twice before purchasing). I just received it and it's a whole inch shorter than the measurement in the product photo at 17.1in. The top measurement of 19.7in is correct! I'm still going to try to use it because it's a good price; my engineer boyfriend is going to have to figure out how to adjust things for…
