Hard cutters priced at

Most of us can't justify sending full price to Godhands but they work great instead. Green is also a nice change of pace from all that blue and white. Plus, little Keroro looks great on them too. Not the cleanest of cuts, but great for basic sets.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Better than Army Painter or Citadel Clippers for 40K

My new clippers. So far I've been using GW/Citadel hair clippers and they now adapt to large chunks of resin. They have much thinner and sharper blades and assembly is a lot easier as I didn't have to sand as much before painting.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to say

The sergeant would be proud

God's hands are the best wire cutters. The handle is made of soft plastic and fits perfectly in the hand. The tip is long and narrow, ideal for tight spaces. The cut is buttery soft and leaves almost no residual burrs. While Godhands blades tend to be brittle, this beginner pair seems more durable. The starting price is good for beginners who want to invest in a good first pair.

Pros
  • satisfied
Cons
  • unreliable

Hair trimmer at a great price! Even after a few months!

I've been using it for a few months now and haven't had any problems. While this may leave some slight buckling marks from a single gap, the buckling marks will be very minimal if you make a double gap (cut the excess part of the runner and then trim the excess part). It's thick enough to cut through thick skids, but soft enough to avoid severe burrs. I've built about 3 RG kits, 3 MG kits and even a set with these wire cutters and have had absolutely no problems. Highly recommended for beginner

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Buy and try before you buy more expensive wire cutters

These wire cutters are without doubt the best value consumer tools. I bought these for use where my other Godhand Nippers could get damaged (clear sprues, thick sprues and frames) and if I had known how well they work I would not have bought the Godhand Ultimate Nipper. Ultimate pliers have thinner jaws, allowing you to get into tighter spots, but the cut quality isn't much better than theirs. If you're thinking about buying more expensive wire cutters, I highly recommend getting these first…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent value for money for hand tools

I previously bought a Citadel clipper but the package got lost in the post. It turned out to be a coincidence! These things have enough sharp points to get into small sprue marks (to avoid multiple cuts) and the blades themselves are very sharp. I've read about the legendary GodHand clippers, but thought that spending $50-$100 was a bit excessive. They're $20 and they're amazing. I threw away the Hakko cutters (also Japanese) but they are for cutting wire and solder, not for building models…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
