Godinger 4811 Triangular Crystal Decanter Review

I get a lot of compliments, especially for this product. It is strange. In a good way :) Adds some interest to your sideboard or table and looks great in a group with other decanters. It's thick, durable and a good weight. Highly recommended for anyone looking to decorate a liquor display case. I've also used it to make mint tea for cleansing. Seals well and is sold by a company (Godinger) with whom I've had nothing but good experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend.

This is amazing, we have several items including mugs, trays, cake stands etc that will be around for generations! Ok minus and there is only one, he/she contains some lead which gives a shine and a hard look. Obviously this is not good so long term storage of spirits/wine is not recommended as lead can slowly leach into alcohol. When I first took this decanter out of the box I was a little disappointed as it wasn't as shiny as I expected. In fact, it was like ordinary glass. However, when I took the time to wash it off, the shine on this piece really started to show. Don't get me wrong, it's not as pretty as a crystal item that costs hundreds of dollars, but overall I'm very impressed with the quality of this $20 decanter.
