What a great gift and wine flavor enhancer! I also put it straight into the dishwasher. Maybe it shouldn't, but it comes out good. Just be careful not to break your neck. It's easy to do. So it's a little fragile, but very stylish!

DO NOT buy as a gift. Arrived used and dirty. I was about to use it as a Christmas present and something told me to open it up and make sure it wasn't broken. I found it had been used and had stains all over it. It was also sticky and dusty. Absolutely disgusting!

After looking at the photos I was under the impression that it was a full size carafe but when I received it it was about half the size of the normal one and didn't look good so I returned it. If you're looking for a regular sized carafe that will hold an entire bottle of wine like most others, look elsewhere.

I was concerned at first because it is much smaller than most decanters. We measured 25 ounces. water to see if it works. We were very surprised at how small 750 ml of wine actually is. The decanter will work just fine. I plan on ordering a second one as we decided to keep this one for ourselves and intended to give this one away as a gift.

This is a wonderful carafe for a large bar set or to take to the table, it doesn't take up as much space as our last carafe! I didn't think it would hold an entire bottle of wine. It really is, and it almost looks like a trick! ☺️Nice pourable size and we are very pleased with the quality exceeding our expectations given the price.

We broke our (extremely) thin crystal carafe after 25 years and decided to make it smaller and thicker this time. It's perfect in every way except that it drips. Use a black washcloth when pouring (like the pros do) and you're done. By the way, the neck is small, which makes it difficult to clean, but put a rag in it and twist it. Works for me every time!

Excellent wine decanter for decanting half a bottle. I bought this as my second decanter because some of my Amarone wines take 2 hours to decant and I need a boost to get ready for the dinner party. When you fill these with a full bottle of wine, the wine stands well above the widest part of the decanter, minimizing the surface area of the wine that comes into contact with air.

Very beautiful and strong, not too light and not too heavy, the only downside is that it has a nick on the neck of the carafe, but I won't be returning just because of the scratch neither can be felt inside nor outside the glass, it seems to be in the middle of the glass so it could be an air bubble, also found a few smaller bubbles in different places of the decanter but found no cracks or broken glass. so i will keep it.

Not exactly as shown. remarkable things. First, there is a ridge at the bottom of the vessel like you have at the bottom of a wine bottle that protrudes into the bottle. Another thing is that it is not as elegant as in the photo. Slightly stockier, I would say, in looks. Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. Haven't actually tried it yet. I bought it on the recommendation of America's test kitchen. PS The edge of the flood plain isn't quite flat either. It's okay as you won't drink
