This adapter has a very good build quality, however I didn't pay attention to the form factor as the distance between the IDE and the power connector was too small (missing) to work in my case. I recommend this to anyone who needs to adapt a 44 pin IDE to a 40 pin IDE when checking the spacing you need for your application. I will not deduct points from a seller for a mistake I made by ordering the wrong item.

Sleeve welded upside down! If you don't have a motherboard cable with long connectors, forget it. In no case is there enough flexibility/length to fit the cable.
