I use this product to clean Buffalo and Liberty nickels that I find while prospecting for metals. Cleaning old nickels with water can make them worse, but a few days of gojo soaking with daily rubbing produces good results without losing detail or cleaning them too much. There are several videos on the internet that describe this process. It appears to be a combination of certain chemicals in gojo and the abrasiveness of pumice stone.

This is a great product that I have used for a long time. This item is overpriced here. You can buy it at Walmart or Loews for $16 a gallon.

Would give it 5 stars but felt it was a bit overpriced. Smells good and works surprisingly well considering it doesn't contain sand. Pretty gentle, and it's even beautiful.
