A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

For a long time the toad choked to take such a disk to replace the three hard drives, but I took it and enjoy the lightweight file management. If something important is stored on it, then it is better to mirror these folders on the second disk. Just in case. WD make good, and he will not die just like that, but anything can happen.

Pros
  • Thick. Most people's lives will fit on it. After markup, it shows 12.7tb.
Cons
  • If such one dies, the loss of data will be very painful. I recommend taking two and setting up a backup or mirroring with a raid (but a soft raid can provoke performance problems in the OS, so it's debatable). During operation, it can noticeably click, but I don’t consider this a problem for a disk of such a volume that should stick out in the server.

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

Hotter than my hdd at 4tb, blue, red +, purple (around 32 simple, 36 active recording, 40 or more if not cooled). Yes, periodically clicks, louder than other discs. was not a surprise or a disappointment. essno after marking not 14tb, but 12.7 the price is now pipets, it turned out to be bought for 27k, and another 2022 for a plus returned (now you can only find wdred + for that kind of money). in the characteristics it is declared twice as long as the red +, so time will tell.

Pros
  • in my case, the cost does not exceed 2tr per 1tb, acceptable. high write speed, at least at the beginning of the disc. 5 year warranty and 2 million hours of failure versus 1 million for wd red+ CMR
Cons
  • Hotter than 4tb wd, no other 14tb drives to compare.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

The main thing is to turn off the power off drives in Windows so that the periodic turning on of the drive is not annoying Real disk space - 12.7TB Total - ideal for backups or storing a large amount of personal data (photos, videos in high quality) Its pros: The speed is really higher than the old Green or Red series drives. There are reviews about clicks - did not notice Warranty 5 years Cons: Expensive, but now all components are becoming more expensive due to a number of factors

Average quality, not a great product.

I have been using Western Digital products for a long time, but this is the first time I have encountered such a "miracle". I was very upset, having paid off such an amount for this monster and received constant annoying clicks in return. I shoveled a lot of information, looked for reviews and found out that such a problem occurs quite often on large-capacity hard drives, but someone seems to be lucky. Personally, I'm not going to buy wheels from the Gold range anymore. After a while, I decided

Pros
  • + Large volume. + Doesn't get hot. + Works.
Cons
  • Approximately every 10 seconds, the drive emits a rather loud click, which is perfectly audible even in my case with excellent noise isolation in general. I also tried to push hard into special boxes, to no avail. At first I thought that I got married and that the hard would die soon or already, but no. Works like nothing happened. All S. M.A. R.T. fine. Moreover, the manufacturer himself does not consider these clicks to be a marriage, attributing them to what they say is a server screw and should make noise.
