Iron is great, especially for short hair; However, the on indicator is dim and hard to see if you forget to turn it off. There, too, only "on" and "off". There are no settings or heating levels. Finally, there's no "auto-off" feature if you leave it on and plug it in. This is a great iron. It just needs a tweak or two to make it more secure and useful.

This straightener does not have temperature control which is acceptable. However, the grooves on the top and bottom of the plates snag on my short pixie hair and I can't get to the roots as well as I'd like. In all honesty, this is more of a root straightener than a flat iron. Good price but won't buy again

I recently cut my hair hawk style, my original chi is too big for my short hair so I bought this one. Pros - small and travel friendly, it's enough to straighten or curl my hair, very cheap Cons - takes time to warm up compared to my chionly, has a setting (very hot actually) Overall I'm very happy with this product and would recommend for anyone who only needs travel or temporary hardware.
