Based on my experience, this headset is exactly what my bike needed. The installation process was a breeze and the headset is incredibly sturdy. It's held up great after multiple rides and has improved the overall handling of my bike. The thickening stainless material also adds a sleek look to the bike. The only con is that it's a bit heavier than other headsets, but the durability and reliability are worth it.

I usually only work with vintage bikes with 1" heads and forks. I was surprised that it is too big for a 1" head tube and only fits 1 ⅛ or more tubes. It looks well made and is a good product, but if you want to remove a 1" head tube it won't fit. fit.

This tool is set for 1 1/8" but I needed 1.5". a piece of tubing to slowly and evenly spread your arms and measure them to the head tube as you walk. Figuring out how far to push them apart was the hardest part, but once I figured it out, I snapped the tool over the cup, checked that all the tabs were on the cup rim, and tapped the cup straight out - worked like a champ . no scratches on the steering column. The metal cover on this one is great to have.
