Another great golden product!

I painted textured paintings so gesso was applied to canvas first. This product is excellent as is everything Golden makes. I use Golden OPEN colors. The best acrylic paints out there.

Pros
  • Remains flexible after drying
Cons
  • Can't remember

Cons

Very smooth and creamy.

Okay first of all I'm new to acrylic painting, I used to use watercolors. I bought gesso to use on watercolor paper and they use acrylic. It's a cheap way to practice or try something without using canvas or boards. This stuff is so smooth and creamy you'll just want to play with it. I've used it straight from the can for more texture or mixed it with some water to thin it out. Can be used as a white paint and covers well although more coats may be needed to thin.

Pros
  • Protects, supports and offers excellent grip
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
