I bought this for a picture from an equestrian show and it goes really well with my chosen black and silver frame. I'm not sure what kind of "tack" a mat should have, it's not sticky after all, so I wasn't sure how to rate this property.

These mats match perfectly! I'm new to watercolor painting and gave away some 'lucky things' that I painted for Christmas. Those mats made them look real, right down to the clear cello case you could put them in. It was a great deal and exactly what I was hoping for. (photo attached, no rating)

First of all, the item was delivered at least 6-10 days after I ordered it and I am a major buyer. I had to buy two boxes of mats because I needed two more to complete the grouping. I contacted customer service a couple of times and tried to just buy two mats but to no avail. I love the matte white finishes on the Golden State DOUBLE. They are acid free, very well made and need to pass quality control as I have bought a huge quantity of these beautiful mats and have never received a bad one. I mostly buy 11x14 inches for an 8x10 image and 8x10 for a 5x7 opening. I'm grateful they come in larger and smaller sizes.
