I bought these mats for an upcoming art show and I needed something clean and elegant for my art and also to save me time from having to matt myself (I find that kind of thing very uninteresting). I am very happy with this product and the incredible price of the kit! The rugs are cut precisely and neatly, the top double rug is already stapled together so you don't have to do it yourself. The surface of the top mat is matte in nature, allowing for media if I want to decorate it by hand later. The back is the perfect size and the pockets fit snugly to the mat, pattern and back. As an added luxury, the adhesive strip on the bag is on the bag body and not on the flap, preventing this strip from damaging the artwork when removed from the bag. a visual aid in the form of a bright white sheet of printer paper shown next to the mat to show the extent of the cream mat. The matte is a very thin warm white tone while the bright white printer paper is cooler. This is something to keep in mind if you're hoping for a more dramatic shade of cream or beige. The color of the top mat is closer to a very light off-white as advertised. I will buy them again for my future shows especially if the price stays the same. I bought this set for $25.99 for 10 mats, bags and pad which is an insane deal!
