I am planning to make an album for each of my 3 adult children. for Christmas. You will store photos of the "child" from birth to adulthood. Explosion album for a 43 year old. All the albums I bought had material covers. They contain 200 photographs. I'm really amazed at the quality and value of these wonderful albums.

These Golden State photo albums are great and well made. Photos won't slip out of sleeve pockets when using the right size 4x6 prints. Plastic bushings are very durable, will not crack, stretch or wrinkle. This album has a suede cover, which is very nice. These albums lay flat when full, which is very important to me. Strong stitching around albums instead of glue. It replaces my old album which just fell apart after peeling it off. I will buy these Golden State albums again.

This photo album is really good, except unfortunately that it only contains horizontal photos. And that's not clear from the description. Almost all of our photographs are our vertical ones. If you want to use the space for vertical photos, you have to carefully break the plastic, and more often than not it breaks and completely ruins the space. I bought several of these photo albums in different colors to fill with photos and give as gifts. For the price I paid these albums are of exceptional quality. The upholstery is either faux suede, really luxurious and rich, or light colored fabric with feathers. I didn't expect the books to be so beautiful.
