Lamp lasted less than a month and then went out completely. They couldn't offer me an exchange so I had to return the money. Anyway, it's not very bright for a new bulb.

The lamp socket doesn't even fit the socket in the projector's lamp compartment. I tried fumbling for 10 minutes but found the pins just didn't match. They differ by millimeters and that makes a big difference. Low quality. NOT OEM!

My projector lamp went dark so I ordered it for about $110 but it took about 5 seconds. After cleaning all the glass, I put in an old lightbulb and bought this. It took longer but for 1/3 the price and the fact that it actually worked was a plus.

Amazing lamp. I had to replace the original lamp cord (it just slips off the old lamp and onto the new ones) to connect it. But it worked right away and is just as bright if not brighter than the original bulb. .I have a Viewsonic PJD7820HD and it works great with it. I've tried several other third-party lightbulbs with less success, but this one is by far the winner.

So I took a chance on this cheap lamp replacement option for my PJD5533W projector when this product didn't have any reviews and I had to guess this is completely new to Revain. That's why it gets 3 stars. So replacing those bulbs should be a 2 second ordeal right off the bat. Loosen 2 screws, swap bulbs, reassemble everything and you're done. It's so easy you don't even need instructions. BUT I immediately deducted 3 stars simply because this lamp house does not match the PJD5533W! You will…

. According to other reviews, some kind of middle must fit my projector. It worked well. As if coming out of the gate, roaring and beaming. But the lamp died within weeks of use, and the lamp it replaced lasted two years.

Worked fine for about a month then started flashing like a strobe light after about an hour before completely failing after about a month and a half of use. maybe 80 or so hours on the lamp. Very disappointing.
