Goldfire Universal Vehicle Adjustable Extinguisher Review

I love this fire extinguisher holder. And I love the fact that it's a quick turn off. I was looking for fire extinguisher holders for our jeep and the velcro type ones bother me because you only have a few seconds to try and unbuckle all those straps where with this holder you pull the handle up and out. Great design Goldfire! Fire extinguishers of different sizes also fit here!

Better than described. Fit and finish are excellent. It actually has tiny spring loaded (I think) balls to prevent rattling. There's some movement when you wiggle it, but I didn't hear or see any vibration while moving. I bolted mine to the seat bracket on the floor of a Jeep Cherokee XJ. There were no surface mount screws included, but all the extra straps listed in the description were included.

Fits on the rear cage tube outside the body of my 2017 Can Am X3. The zip tie attachment does not inspire confidence and I can add rivets and use the holes provided to improve this. Once attached, the extinguisher makes a lot of play and rattle as you can see in the video. I haven't found a rattle solution that doesn't interfere with the quick release. Overall a good product for the price.

Looks cool, is made from ultra-light aluminum and would be functionally perfect if it worked from the factory. My problem is how the handle screws into the base. The carving is only 3 rows and very thin (a major design flaw). After activating Grip 2-3, the grip extends straight from the base. In the picture I am trying to fix a locking problem. If that doesn't work, I'll come back. I will buy again. ? Hmmmmm. No, if I could find something similar but better designed.

This mount is inexpensive but works amazingly well. There was a small issue with the traction pin falling out after a few hundred miles of off-road racing. The seller was able to provide a replacement needle. Reinstalled with fixative and no more problems since. Make sure you take it apart and apply threadlock on arrival and you will never fail. A+ products. Used this past weekend when another driver caught fire and was able to get a fire extinguisher out of my rear bumper and put out his fire.

. On my second ride, somehow the entire linkage assembly fell off and I lost the linkage, the part that attaches to the fire extinguisher, and the fire extinguisher somewhere along the way. Perhaps a bit of LocTite on the pin assembly threads would have kept the pin assembly from falling out. Later that day we found a fire extinguisher and now I'm looking for the pull pin assembly. **UPDATE** The next day I was walking down the ATV trails again and found a pull pin assembly near the fire…

Update: After nearly a year of ownership, there was a minor aesthetic issue and the company has been incredibly quick in servicing and repairing their product. I wasn't asked, they sent the replacement part in one day. I am very impressed. The original part still works as advertised despite being outside in inclement weather for almost a year. It's only when something goes wrong that you'll know if you've brought something from a reliable company. Highly recommended! I'm so glad I found this…
