Description of ๐ŸŽต Goliton Pioneer 3.5MM AUX Input Audio Cable for MP3 CD-RB10 CD-RB20 iB100 IP-Bus 12-PIN

Play your music through your PIONEER head unit (must have PIONEER IP-BUS CD changer input). Hear your music in much better quality then other connections. Control and display remain on the audio device -- the PIONEER headunit will NOT control or display text. You can't connect a CD Changer to the head unit at the same time while this cable is connected. Just plug one end of this cable into the CD changer input in the back of your stereo and the other end to the mini jack input on the device.

Works perfectly! Best in Automotive and Automotive Electronics

I wanted to play audio from my iPhone through a Pioneer head unit and found this cable. That works great! Just plug it into the back of the main unit and route the cable to where you want to connect your iPhone or other device with a headphone jack. You need to go to your main device's menu and enable the Aux option. You then simply switch between CD, Tuner and Aux to select the input method. Brilliant!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • -

First try to use this was 0 sound, I had aux on so I pulled turned my stereo out and made sure it was fully plugged in, it turned out it wasn't and actually it wasn't very easy to turn it fully on. Once that was done and the stereo reconnected, I went to Aux and listened to music from my iPhone. An easy way to get something other than a standard radio or CD on an old stereo.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Clarity

Works once you figure out how to activate the AUX input

At first I thought it was useless but after reading a few other reviews I realized I just got the magic need to find code to activate the AUX input . I have an AVIC-N3, so it connects to a brain box under my passenger seat. The cable isn't very long, but I plugged it into a small Bluetooth audio adapter in the center console to pair cheaply with my phone and it worked. For AVIC-N3, you need to turn the source "Offโ€, then press the A.MENU button (press the Shift key), then press the "STARTโ€โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Legacy model

Cheap quality, connection wears out quickly

The first one worked great for about 6 months until the connection broke. It's cheap enough so I replaced it, but this time my second one only lasted 2 months before the same problem. I understand that a jack will loosen over time and wear out under load, but that's just cheap quality. With my second cable, it worked fine one day and the next day it turned off. I didn't drop my phone or pull the cord in an inappropriate way, it just broke. And there is no visible wear or loose parts, as if theโ€ฆ

  • Not bad, but...

Works perfectly! Note: Must be FULLY connected

This chord does exactly what it says. Plug it into the blue AUX port on the back of your Pioneer receiver (in my case a Pioneer mosfet eeq 50wx4) and then plug the other end into the headphone jack on your iPod, MP3 player. Three hints: 1.) To turn on AUX, turn off the receiver by pressing and holding "Source" and then press and hold the "Function" button until the time settings are turned on. Hold "Function" until you reach AUX, which will be off, press the up arrow to turn it on and clickโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Some Difficulty
