I like everything about it except where the leash attaches to the jacket. The seams of the thread are not durable, so our line attachment broke and the loop became unusable. Instead, I made a small hole in the jacket for the leash to pass through, allowing me to tie the dog to the collar. Mainly use this jacket on windy or rainy days.

My #10 Italian Greyhound LOVES playing in the rain with his new jacket! Based on other comments I started big and had to return it. This one also seemed a little big but once he put it on everything turned out to be fine because it rides forward a bit. It's not very waterproof/resistant, but I think it's good enough. If this rain continues I'll probably be wearing a sweater under my jacket. But Obi no longer refuses to go outside in the rain.

I have used this jacket on two dogs of different sizes but the same. Simply a great water-repellent material, dry even in a storm. You must order one size up, these jackets run smaller than what you usually buy. I may have had to get a large one for my mini schnauzer who wears medium and my other wirer terrier and schnauzer crossbreed dog is a large n which is even small to him but this was the largest they have. I bought this Gooby Alpine Parka in XS for my girlfriend's new Chihuahua puppy. The hood conveniently snaps in place so it doesn't get in the way when not in use. It looks like a well-tailored coat that will keep him warm all fall long. But I would choose something warmer for the winter months if you live in snow and ice.
