This strainer does not hold up over the drain. The pressure of the water pushes it aside and the particles are flushed down the drain. I have to hold it in place to wash out the particles in the screen. Useless!

Works well but outer rim is high. This results in you having to manually (or use the spray function on the faucet) force dirt from the sink into the strainer. Since the rim is high, quite a bit of water remains in the sink.

We have a septic tank so we have to be extremely careful not to dump things down the sink that over time can clog pipes and/or damage the septic tank. The garbage chute can't be used either, so we need to use a good strainer in the kitchen sink. This one does the trick!

The first one I ordered rusted in less than 10 days. I thought it was lucky and Revane traded it. The second rusted in less than two weeks and pitted on it after four weeks. Looks good and the price was reasonable but the quality is terrible. Revain must remove them from his inventory. Money down the drain 🙄

I bought the same product a few years ago and wanted to replace it. Unfortunately, other reviews are correct in the sense that the new plastic lip is much thicker and taller. That means not only does water collect in the sink, but (more importantly) food particles can't get through that upper lip. Thus, the product has been improved to the point where it has become ineffective. Will definitely be returning this.

Firstly the packaging didn't protect the mesh so it spread out and broke out of the ring when I tried to shape it properly. However, I tried it and encountered another problem. The ring is inclined from the center. Since water doesn't like to flow uphill, small dirt and food particles remain in the sink without falling into the strainer. On the other hand, when I complained about the packaging, the manufacturer offered to replace the filter. Now I have two, both completely useless.
