They don't make them like they used to

I've only been using Goody men's combs for at least 30 years. Unfortunately, I often lose combs and they're running out now, so I ordered them. However, these are not the combs that have been sold in the past. First, they are made in China, and the old ones are made in the USA. Apparently they created new comb shapes and that's the problem for me. Newer combs have extra chips (a thin piece of molded plastic) around the tips of the comb teeth. This is common with cheaper brands but wasn't a…

Disappointing. Not the same

I have used the Ace hard rubber men's comb for many years. I finally found some Ace combs but they weren't the same anymore. They are made of plastic where the teeth broke off in no time. Also, your teeth are too close together. So I called Ace's people. However, ACE was bought by Goody. The goody girl I spoke to explained that they no longer make the Ace comb which was a quality product. She suggested I check out the Revain Goody brand brushes they sell. Results? They're just as bad as the…

Gross Styling Tools & Appliances

I have received two mismatched, unmarked combs of extremely poor quality, both of which appear to be used judging by the buildup of dirt between my teeth. I could save time and just throw $7 in the trash because that's where these combs go before one of my kids accidentally uses them and gets in their hair. What a disappointment. It's a joke I think.

Crest, another Crest wants them to be.

I refuse to use another brand of comb. I've had them in the past and they all failed and broke. I've never broken a single goody comb. Not that it breaks when you comb your hair, but rather in your back pocket with your wallet. The only problem I have is that I'm losing a lot of them. Most of the time they fall out of my pocket in people's cars. My wallet never falls out, only my combs. What frustrates me the most is that many stores no longer sell the Goody :X brand, so instead of buying…

THIS IS NOT Goody Combs!

I couldn't find the good old 5 inch flexible Goody brushes in stores anymore (the ones on sale hurt my scalp!) so I decided to order online. What I got was this isn't the Goody comb I knew and wanted, it's not even the Ace comb that seems so ubiquitous and shown in the picture after you click more info.

Pros
  • Perfect for the great outdoors
Cons
  • Some bugs
