These hair ties are great for getting hair out of my face and because of my work I have to wear my hair every day. When you first use the tape they are very tight. Yes they will stretch over time but if you buy a pack of 70 they will last for years! I have a topknot. It's not fat, but I have a lot of it. After about 4-6 months I might break a few elastics, but if you don't use the same elastics every day or use them on wet hair, you won't have to buy another pack for 2-3 years. I bought this…

I buy them when they run out. Like all hair ties, they will stretch and break over time. That being said I get a high mileage from them and keep buying more as they run out. I've found that the thick, metal-free elastics stay in my hair and don't start slipping out, which is an issue with thin elastics. The metal naturally catches the hair and pulls it out, since they don't have metal they don't pull my hair unless I accidentally make a few loops and pull the hair out causing tangles.
