The reason I only gave this brush 3 stars is because it has VERY hard bristles. It works great and looks like a quality product like all good products but I didn't expect it to be that heavy. I have 2 other goody brushes and they are not as hard as the bristles on this one. But if you really like hard brushes, then this one is definitely for you.

Goody makes reliable products so I'm not surprised. This brush has really stiff bristles, so if you have short and thick hair you shouldn't have any problems with the brush. If your hair is soft and brittle I wouldn't use it on my hair. My hair is short, strong and thick so this will help me get some nice wet curls and smooth out my baby hair around my hairline. Definitely a quality brush at the moment.

This brush is the same brush my mother bought me when I was a little girl. Unfortunately. After more than 30 years, my daughter lost the pink brush my mother gave me. So I had to replace it. This one is similar. Of course, the quality isn't what it used to be. nothing else on the market comes close. We use this brush to create sleek hairstyles like tight buns, sleek ponytails, etc.

I have been looking for this brush for a few years after losing the one I had for almost twenty years. The bristles are harder than other brushes so I wanted a different one. I have mixed African American curly hair and prefer to keep my buns or ponytails combed perfectly. This one works. I still miss my old one. The bristles were very hard.
