My experience was unfortunate as the thermometer quickly broke from the fumes entering the temperature instrument. The silicone ring around the thermometer also broke and splintered. Nice but I bought it because of the gooseneck and thermometer. As others have noted, the thermometer fogged up on first use and is now difficult to use. Too much hassle with sending it back and the gooseneck is intact. Regarding the sensor readings, water boils at 100 degrees Celsius and the sensor has a red mark for boiling water. Very easy.

I like the little kettle. I only give 4 stars because: the temperature sensor was not sealed and immediately filled with moisture when it was boiled for the first time. It also smelled like burnt paint after cooking a few pots, although I had never seen one. Last but not least, I did not see in the description that the main temperatures are in degrees Celsius on the dial, in Fahrenheit in the fine print.

I bought this because of the color and temperature sensor and thought the thin goose nose would come in handy. I was wrong. Most of the time it comes out of the water and I don't know how to get there to clean it (the bottle brush obviously doesn't fit). We have hard water so it won't be long. It also drips out from under the lid. I know kettles float but this collects condensation around the outer top of the lid and gauge and has to be held down when I pour it so I burned myself a couple of…
