Works great in bright light

I installed it in my RV for my wife to read at night. I cut the connector off the wires and wire straight to 12 volts. Works great with lots of light! The mount could be improved and that would be my only criticism.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • boring packaging

Good light - Power

Good light, easy to adjust to avoid glare. Built into Polaris Ranger as a cockpit light. The gooseneck is strong and easily adjustable. I'm a bit concerned about the strength of the plastic mount, so I attached some zip ties to it instead of relying on screws.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Damaged

Very good light in indoor lighting

My wife and I love this flexible neck lamp. It is a bit more expensive, but gives off a bright but warm light. It came with a 110V socket but was ready for 12V when off. We use it as a reading light both at home (110AV) and on the boat (12V). The gooseneck is secure and will stay where you put it.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Useless features

durable reliable - power industry

I've been using it for a year now. Mounted at the rear of the motorhome, it is ideal for work on the tailgate. The gooseneck works great and hasn't started to sag. It's been ridden on rough roads with a washboard and still works like new. I hooked it up to my pickup truck battery and used the built in 7.5 amp fuse.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Hard to say

It worked well. best RV parts and accessories

I'm not sure why they made the mounting bracket the way they made it. This is done to secure the edge of the varieties. I had to turn it over to put it on a flat surface. As a result, the deepened recesses are now in contact with the mounting surface. So I couldn't use beveled screws. Apart from this small problem, they work perfectly. Good warm LED lighting with almost too many LEDs for a bedside reading lamp, but great for map reading I'm sure.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Almost never

good light. Looks a little bigger and longer than it is.

Good quality lamp, good light. It looks a bit bigger and longer than in the photos. My only complaint is that the angled plastic base flexes a bit when you slide the lamp out of the wall. There is some spring/flex coming from the wall above where the screws connect. I installed it in my motorhome, let's see if it holds up on the road. I received a power supply with the lamp although I wasn't expecting one.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Will not fit all

The pivoting flex pipe is a nice feature, as is the 360 degree pan head. The lamp gives off bright light and can be aimed in almost any direction. The only compromise (reason for 4 stars) is the mounting base. The plastic base is designed to be fixed to a flat surface with fasteners. Compared to other parts of the lamp, the base looks fragile. Since I had a unique mounting scheme, I cut off the bottom of the base and stuck a hollow threaded rod (the kind commonly used in many table lamps) intoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • No automatic
