Flash! Do not buy! - Car electronics

Waste of money! I bought them so I don't have to disassemble the interior of the car to route the wires. In the end I had to do it! When I connected the receiver to the monitor, the display started flashing every second. After laying the video cable and connecting it, the blinking stopped. I didn't want to remove the transmitter so I left it plugged in. It powers my rear camera.

20ft Max for vehicle safety

Hello everyone! I bought it because I knew I wouldn't have a range from it. But I expected 15 feet. At a height of 15 feet, the barley follows. I have the receiver under the driver's seat and the transmitter in the back of my Explorer Sport Trac. The total distance from point to point, maybe 8 feet. I mean it's a short bed maybe even 6ft. Be careful - you won't be more than 15 feet from this thing. Unless you hang the antenna out of the window.

Don't buy if you have a PIONEER radio!

Does not work with radio. Does not work with PIONEER STEREO! Don't buy it if you have or want to use it with PIONEER. I bought this as a gift to help my daughter park and took the time to install it along with all the recommended cameras and accessories on her birthday and after 4 hours and lots of research I found this set would not work with every PIONEER head unit. Waste of time and money not to mention no gift for our daughter so I had to rush to buy her something else at the last minute.

I would give 5

Ok so far so good for my Lexus RX. The hardest part was finding the power cords in the trunk. The only problem was that my new aftermarket BOSS needed a signal to turn on the reverse lights to automatically turn on the camera. You can usually get this from the cable that comes with the camera. Obviously there is no cable and my RX is too old to connect to stereo cables. Not a big deal as I can just press the button on the radio and turn it on. Let's call it 99% perfect, otherwise laying it…

Works well at reasonable distances, line of sight

I am using my camera to connect a remote car backup camera to my desktop backup camera monitor for home security. Yes indeed. The transmitter is about 50 feet from the monitor and will work through a well shielded (aluminum insulated) house as I have a decent line of sight through the window. At 5.8GHz, you need a decent line of sight to get any meaningful distance with this kind of micro-power. Neither the microwave oven nor the police radar interfere with this pair, while they interfere with…

Don't worry about car rear view cameras

I installed front and rear view cameras on my 2015 GMC Sierra in addition to the factory rear view camera. It's raised 8.5 inches, making them extremely useful in parking lots and other crowded situations. Since my hood is higher than most of the cars in the parking lot. Rschunimagu. I bought a wireless transmitter to install an LED camera in my enclosed trailer. When I tow my Harleys I can keep an eye on them indoors. This would save me the trouble of running video cables to the back of the…

Fits my purpose

I have a receiver that connects to a pop up monitor on the dash of my truck with a hidden cable to the rear window. I connected the power to one of Ford's auxiliary switches so I can turn it off when not in use. From the receiver on the rear window to the transmitter (transmitter) in the all-metal fifth wheel, and it always works. The transmitter is located in this terminal box and is live connected to the parking light. If the truck's headlights don't shine through the pigtail, the sensor…
