Used as a base layer under the referee shirt for cold weather referees. Works well. It's not a thick, highly insulating layer, but it blocks the wind. In really cold weather, you'll need another layer of insulation.

Serves the purpose fully. On faster MTB/road bike tours, I didn't get a breath of air in the front, it kept the wind off ideally.

I'm rarely smitten with the clothes, but it's definitely the case here. Cozy, warm, lightweight, breathable and sweat-wicking.

I ordered it because of Black Friday and was looking forward to finally getting a cool gore wear. But it looks different, at 187cm I also ordered XXL because of belly, but the sleeves are too long and when you put them on you don't know how the sleeves are put on correctly rotated. I found this top very comfortable and kept the wind out really well. I was initially skeptical as I thought a colder breeze would penetrate my outer layers and cool down this base layer, but I didn't find that to be the case. It works well. I'm considering buying a second one.

Probably the most expensive undershirt, but I'm super satisfied. I use the shirt for road cycling and have worn it at around 10 to 20 degrees with a cycling jacket over it. The shirt really doesn't let the wind through, keeps you nice and warm and dries very quickly. That's great because I don't wash my shirt after every ride.

I had no intention of buying this. I put wardrobe in the cart just to touch it and find out why it's so expensive. After receiving it, I was surprised by the material. I have never held such material in my hands. Anyway, I tried it and I liked it right away. I decided to leave it and try outside the next day. The super warm shirt is designed with zero degrees cycling, which allows you to get heat from the cycling jersey. I highly recommend it. The price is the only thing I would like to voice subtle criticism. The quality is absolutely right for that.

Fits perfectly (L for 6ft 1,205lbs) and offers enough arm length to reach hands (without gloves). I wish Gore would consider adding thumb loops to hold it on hands. It's also the perfect base layer for winter/cool weather skiing.

Great base coat for active use. Fits snugly but doesn't restrict movement due to the stretchy fabric built into the design. Obviously it can be used as standalone outerwear in milder conditions. Worth every penny spent on it.

This is an absolute must if you ride on spring and autumn days when temperatures are in the 40s. It breathes from behind and protects against wind from the front. A high neck is also important. I'm 5ft 11" 170lbs and I have both a medium and large, the large is a bit big with long sleeves and the medium fits snug but is difficult to take off afterwards. In general, if you think you'll end up somewhere in between, go a size down rather than a size up, as the tighter the better the aerodynamics…

Bought this as an extra layer to stay warm while cycling on cold days. Overall, it does its job well and is skin-friendly, but the manufacturer's claims are wrong. I know and expected it to be tight but it's really cozy. Top product quality as usual with Gore. I drove around with it in the winter half-year and would buy it again immediately, even if it's not exactly cheap.

Fits, sits, has air. Comfortable to wear and up to 5-6° only perfect with a jacket. At temperatures below 5° I always wear a vest or shorts underneath.

Use the Windstopper shirt as an intermediate layer under the leather suit when riding a motorcycle. - The first two tests at around 10-14 degrees Celsius outside temperature were very satisfactory. - The shirt is almost not bulky and "seals and warms" very well in relation to its thickness!

Gets extremely cold on the back because there is no windproof layer in those areas. Warmth Performance Of course, this does not exist when the wind blows over your back. So actually riding your bike is pointless. Unfortunately not recommended for biking. L corresponds to the usual size L from gore.

This is exactly what I needed for winter runs. Excellent wind protection and heat retention. I use this every day. Worth the price.

I don't know how they came up with these products but these GOREs are a must have for riding in different temperatures: 60-70F: Well ventilated and moisture wicking. I would wear it under a lightweight half or full sleeve tank top 50-60F: keeps you warm inside even when it's windy. I add thermal underwear for the cooler temperature of the 50's. After about 15 minutes of cycling, the body generates enough heat to be comfortable, especially in windy conditions. 50-30F: This is where this product…
