Another purchase for our camper. The magnet is strong enough to keep my knives in place as we navigate bumpy highways and roads. It was easy to install (even at an angle due to my free space). Be sure to follow the instructions to keep your fingers out of the way of the mounting bracket during installation. This is a super strong magnet!

It was very easy to install and has a really strong magnet. My only complaint, and I knew it when I bought it, is that it's bare metal. So I have a feeling it might end up scratching your knives. I've considered finding a thin piece of silicone or shelf padding to prevent this, but so far it doesn't seem like a worthwhile effort. I've seen a similar magnetic stripe sold for 2x and 3x the price so for the price it couldn't be better.

- Inch size not available. The sides are exactly the same, apart from the size, so it's not obvious at all. BEWARE! Otherwise an excellent product. I had a 10" and wanted two more. I clicked buy again but received the wrong item. Beware! I'll keep them to myself - they'll make me clean up the tools in the garage .But Revane shouldn't do that.Honestly,Revane!

My mother got me these colorful knives for Christmas years ago and I hated keeping them in a dark drawer somewhere and almost never used them because they "" out" were out of sight and out of mind". When we moved to our new location, the cabinet next to the kitchen sink had the perfect dead space and I knew immediately what to put there. We were able to attach this magnetic strip in less than 10 minutes and now my colorful knives are visible and within reach.

The magnet is strong and holds utensils in place, but not too strong to make it difficult for me to pull out the knife when needed. Very easy to install. During installation, be careful not to get your fingers caught between the magnet and the plate. Can't comment on durability yet, only used for a month. Update - It's been a few months now and still good. I had to change the walls (due to another issue and unrelated to the magnetic stripe) and it was easy to remove and then put back on. Still…
