📱 Gosky Smartphone Adapter for Microscopes Review

I bought this to use with my slit lamp, I wanted to quickly show patients what anterior segment pathology they might have. It works well, it definitely doesn't look like a slit lamp equipped with a professional camera, but good enough to show blepharitis, corneal irregularities, etc. I'm a bit disappointed that the tube doesn't fit flush into the slit lamp eyepiece by holding it with one hand and controlling the slit lamp with the other. This is a simple unit with a good design that I bought for use with a triple head microscope. My Pixel smartphone fits without any problems. The design of the adapter makes it easy to install correctly. Lens (plastic vs glass, not tested) excellent. Surprisingly little chromatic aberration and perfect magnification. I have a full Nikon DSLR but the shutter shakes from using the eyepiece mount on my old scopes. It's really too heavy for anything other than a trinocular. I also lost access to Photoshop at my new company, so my pictures weren't that great. If I did photomicroscopy frequently, I would get Meiji with a real camera.
