They represent very good value for money. I will never buy a Philips Hue product again. They're probably good, but the prices are obscenely high. Govee lights are easy to set up and for $59 they were worth trying. I would like them to be a bit lighter when using darker colors like purple, but this may not be possible with darker colors. In any case, they look good in my office. Definitely worth the money. (Apologies for managing the wires in the photos - not quite done yet.)

I love these light bars! I installed them on the back of my monitor and they make such a nice diffused light that spreads across the wall. It's very even, allowing it to create a gradient on the wall with my desk light bar. You will become BRIGHT. I think I have 40% of it in this photo. Music responsive lighting is pretty cool, but I think the main reason they're great is the lighting zones. You can display multiple colors on each panel and even add effects (rainbow, wave, pulse, etc.) to them.

I received a defective unit (poor connection on one side is wrong colors/doesn't change colors etc without frequently tugging the wires) and had to go to service for "quick replacement". Typical Chinese customer service = They don't take your word for it and offer to replace the unit, they want PROOF and lots of pictures.
